Our Home in El Salvador

For more than ten years OUR LITTLE BROTHERS AND SISTERS have been present in El Salvador. Father Wasson founded the children’s village in 1999 and today we already have 446 children and adolescents living here. Our fosterlings as well as children living outside of the home are regularly examined and treated at our two clinics.

Why your support is so important:

  • More than one third of the population lives on less than two Euros a day
  • In El Salvador, the infant death rate before the age of five is six times as high as in Germany
  • Public hospitals can only offer nine beds for every 10,000 people*

In the smallest country of Central America in respect to area, high unemployment and low wages are raging. Numerous children die every year due to contaminated water and lack of medical care.
