Give children a future

UNSERE KLEINEN BRÜDER UND SCHWESTERN E.V. (Our Little Brothers and Sister / Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos) is an internationally active children's fund in Latin America that supports needy, disadvantaged and abandoned children, teenagers and young adults. In close collaboration with our employees and partners on site, we install children's villages in which the girls and boys live like in an extended family. We care for the integral development of the children in our homes, schools, training centres, medical and agricultural institutions as well as other programmes. With skilled personnel from our own cultural environment we support the local employees on site.

Over the past 55 years thanks to numerous donors, we were able to give a new home and the chance to a better future to about 16.000 stranded children. At present, about 3.500 children live in our 9 orphanages in Mexico, Honduras, Haiti, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Peru and Bolivia. In addition, we support the poorest children in the slums of our neighbourhood. Annually, about 40.000 needy children are given the chance to a better future.

Our donors and volunteers are an important part of our big family. Their monetary and time donations define the extent of the relief measures. With reports, sponsorships, visits and the staff on site we establish good communication between them and the children.
