Via Satellite phone we received the following messages: Only on January 19th our physicians treated 72 patients. Most of them with fractures and deep wounds. Patients come to us from miles around, even from the other side of Port-au-Prince – looking desperately for medical help.

Many doctors offer their help. Two trucks with bottled water and powdered milk came from the Dominican Republic. At present we check the possibilities of installing further clinics at different places all over and around the city. Basic relief products are available – there is electricity and we have water. To help all the injured persons and most notably the children we urgently need further donations. We have to buy dressing material, shots, antibiotics. Also important is the supply of clean water and food. Please help us with your donation!
